18:29. কিন্তু দুপুর থেকে বিকেল গড়িযে গেল তখনও আগুন ধরার কোনো লক্ষণ দেখা গেল না| ক্রমে বিকেলের বলিদানের সময় ঘনিয়ে এলো, ভাববাদীরা উন্মত্তের মতো ডাকাডাকি করতে লাগলেন কিন্তু বালদেবের দিক থেকে কোনো সাড়াই পাওয়া গেল না|
